Nowadays, we are trail into a new era as the effect of the information technology revolution. The survey conducted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) on 2006 note that the fourth Industrial revolution becomes a threat to most developing countries. Some concern arises as to the uncertainty a public institution transformation to confront the challenge in the fourth Industrial revolution. Moreover, the uncertainty effect on the fourth Industrial revolution such as job reduction caused by digitalization may become a serious threat to a public institution. Smith (2014) and Schwab (2016) argue those changes may drive to the instability of a government institution, public administration, and policy delivered to the community. The fourth Industrial revolution revolutionizes not only physical appearance but also nation behavior towards service provided by the government. The community is reactive in expressing their opinion throughout the social network or online petition in order to criticize public management. Thus, the Industrial revolution presents not only create opportunities but also a threat to public, policy, and Administration.

Public Administration Department, Faculty Social Science, Universitas Negeri Padang invited you to International Conference on Public Administration, Policy and Governance 2019 (ICPAPG) which will be held from 5-7 November 2019 in Padang, Indonesia. ICPAPG 2019 goal is to build scholar and practitioner capacity on public administration and policy in confronting the fourth industrial revolution. This convention also intent to develop collaboration among stakeholder involved as such are scholar, government, civil society, and business.

[IMPORTANT] To submit an abstract, authors must create an account first, then they can submit their abstracts by logging in to their account. The manuscript (full paper) can be submitted only after authors submit the abstract. The whole submission process is done fully online (NOT by email) to guarantee smooth administration. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) will be sent to your email once your abstract is accepted to be presented at the conference.
